17³Ô¹ÏÍø assists with assembly regulation guide in Aweil
12 August 2013 - Aiming to enhance parliamentarians' knowledge of state legislative assembly regulations, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø handed over 100 copies of "Conduct of Business Regulations" in the state capital Aweil today.
According to State Legislative Assembly Speaker Achol William Amuol, only a few members have access to the document due to lack of a printing facility.
"The document is ... our conduct of business regulation meant to guide members on their day-to-day duties," said Ms. Amuol.
Following a request from the speaker, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø assisted with printing more copies.
17³Ô¹ÏÍø Civil Affairs Officer Luis Perez-Segnini noted that many parliamentarians had no knowledge of internal regulations and urged them all to read, understand and follow guidance in the document.
