9 April 2013 - Hilde F. Johnson, Special Representative of the Secretary-General in South Sudan, condemns in the strongest terms the killing today of five peacekeepers and seven civilians working with 17³Ô¹ÏÍø in an ambush by unidentified assailants near the settlement of Gumuruk, Jonglei State.

8 April 2013 - The South Sudan government must take all necessary steps to protect civilians during ongoing military operations in Jonglei State, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for South Sudan, Hilde F. Johnson, said in Juba today.
